meet elora: the entrepreneur behind the collective

Hello! I am so glad you're here!

I'm Elora! I am a social worker, psychotherapist, entrepreneur and business owner. I grew up in the Niagara Region in a family of entrepreneurs and business owners. When I was 8-years-old, I started working with my father during evenings and weekends on his side hustles. When I was 15-years-old, I started working at McDonald's and within one year I worked myself up the ranks into a managerial role.

During my Psychology degree at Brock University, I worked as a teaching assistant with undergraduate students and discovered my love for coaching and learning. After completing my Master of Social Work degree in 2017, I opened a private psychotherapy practice. Nova Phoenix Counselling Services has since grown to 50+ team members! You can check these amazing, qualified, compassionate team members out at our sister company, www.novaphoenix.ca

All of this to say, business management, entrepreneurship, and coaching are parts of my identity since a young age. My additional training in Internal Family Systems Levels I and II largely shapes the way I interact with humans and the world around me. I approach learning, growth, and relationships from a lens of curiosity, playfulness, and creativity. My psychology and social work background lend a deep understanding of how people, systems, and business work. I am especially interested in working with marginalized business owners and entrepreneurs to foster opportunities and prosperity. In November 2024, I was a finalist in the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Awards for the Health Care Hero category. How It Works

Grow your practice with the consistency of dedicated clinic days. Select your fixed weekly schedule and preferred suite with full access from 8 AM to 9 PM. Practitioners booking multiple days enjoy preferred pricing and a stable home for their business to rise.
