I'm Elora! I am a social worker, psychotherapist, entrepreneur and business owner. I grew up in the Niagara Region in a family of entrepreneurs and business owners. When I was 8-years-old, I started working with my father during evenings and weekends on his side hustles. When I was 15-years-old, I started working at McDonald's and within one year I worked myself up the ranks into a managerial role. During my Psychology degree at Brock University, I worked as a teaching assistant with undergraduate students and discovered my love for coaching and learning. After completing my Master of Social Work degree in 2017, I opened a private psychotherapy practice. Nova Phoenix Counselling Services has since grown to 50+ team members! All of this to say, business management, entrepreneurship, and coaching are parts of my identity since a young age. My additional training in Internal Family Systems Levels I and II largely shapes the way I interact with humans and the world around me. I approach learning, growth, and relationships from a lens of curiosity, playfulness, and creativity. My psychology and social work background lend a deep understanding of how people, systems, and business work. I am especially interested in working with marginalized business owners and entrepreneurs to foster opportunities and prosperity. In November 2024, I was a finalist in the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Awards for the Health Care Hero category. Welcome to our collaborative co-working space! We have 4 private offices and one large community room which we finished construction on in November 2024. Myself, my partner, and the support of our two emotional support dogs Kevin and Toby, put our blood, sweat, and tears into creating this collective from an empty shell! We aspire for this space to be an inclusive, welcoming, and safe space for networking and business development.
Each office can be booked hourly for $15/hour. Rates are negotiable if you are interested in booking blocks of time. Our community rooms rate varies, depending on request.
Office rentals include:
-Waiting room
-Wheelchair accessible
-Free parking and on a bus route
-Free Wi-fi
-Coffee, tea, bottled water
-Furnished and sound proofed office space
-Dim-able lighting
Community room includes:
-Seating for 20 people with additional cushions and blankets for comfort
-Your own coffee, tea, and bottled water
station, cutlery and paper plates
-2 folding tables and table cloths
-A projector
